Z440 supports a single E5-1600 v3 or E5-1600 v4 up to 8 cores Series of Intel Xeon processors plus a selected E5-2600 v3 up to 4 cores, easily manage large data sets with up to 256GB of DDR4 ECC memory (8 DIMM slot configuration). With newer generation processors combine with solid-state drives the Z440 powers through the most demanding, interactive applications quickly. The Z440 offers a Straightforward, clutter-free interior providing easy access to components with space for up to (2) external 5.25" bays or (2) Internal 3.5" bays.  

The Z440 optional cooling is required when upgrading certain hardware components available from HP or third parties.

Note 1: When configuring with a 3rd NVS 310 or 315--the configuration requires the HP Z4 Fan and Front Card
Guide Kit, which is available for both CTO (G8T99AV) and AMO (J9P80AA).
